Episode 19 Fighting back: From civic action to civil disobedience

We can take cues from our Founding Fathers about the proper way to resist government tyranny.

That’s exactly what my guest, Dan Cook, has done when looking for ways to reform government. Dan has been active in the liberty movement since Ron Paul’s 2008 presidential campaign where he actively worked to get Dr. Paul elected.

From there, he was elected to the Continental Congress in 2009 as a Florida delegate where he contributed to the writing of the Articles of Freedom.

In 2020 he led the resistance against the lockdowns and mask mandates in Collier County Florida. Today he is the Vice Chairman of the Collier County Republican Party and is the Freedom Ambassador at Seed To Table.

When civil action failed in the Revolutionary days, that’s when civil disobedience became duty. Dan reminds us that there are many ways we can fight back against government tyranny. Each approach is valuable in its own way.
